Today, just for the next few minutes, let’s try NOT rushing so much.
Give yourself a moment to pause.
What if your face or your shoulders weren’t quite so close to the screen?
Let your head unlock from that familiar position you tend to use.
As you stop being poised to rush into the next second, can you let your head release upward?
Do you notice that the front and the back, even the sides of you can grow softly up and out?
Breathing any deeper?
Look away from the screen for the three complete easy breaths.
What did you see? Look back at it for two more breaths.
As you return to looking at the screen do you notice a slight softening of your vision?
What do you hear? Pause for just a moment to listen.
How far in the distance can you hear if you quiet the “chatter” in your head?
Can you stand up and stretch or get yourself a glass of water?
